Responsibilities:

Conduct GMP and fabrication audits, checking and reporting on the adherence to QM policies and proceduresGlass and brittle plastic auditsCollecting Micro samples as per schedule and arrange collection (water, hygiene swabs, finished products)Collection, check and completion of all daily production & QA check sheetsConduct daily label checks to ensure traceabilityCalibration of weighing scalesCarry out temperature and quality checksUpdating and maintaining accurate Quality Management documentation records, including logs and trackers for several processesHandling internal enquiries and escalating within the team where requiredCentrally file and archive a wide range of documentation including all, reports, investigations, and other quality documentationForm part of the internal auditing teamIssuing certificates of Analysis/Conformities, where requiredBe involved in root cause activitiesbe part of continuous improvement projects, customer experience testing and improvement activities. Assisting with the investigation of complaintsTeam Player

Skills/experience required

Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Operations and the quality requirements of both the business and the customerEffective communication skills, listening, influencing and persuading skills at all levelsTime ManagementExperience working within a food manufacturing environment is desired but not essentialFlexibility with working hours to meet business needsConfident PC skillsHACCP trained (desired but not essential)

Quality Assurance experience (2+ years, desired but not essential)
