About the Role:
- Position: Teacher of Computing
- Contract: Permanent, starting in September
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Computing, covering a range of topics from basic ICT skills to advanced programming and computer science concepts.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources and strategies.
- Engage in the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computing at the secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
