Hourly Rate: £18-£19

Day/Night/Mixed Shifts

Hours Per Week: 37.5

Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Active NMC PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
  • Clear DBS

About the Nursing Home:

This service is a modern fifty bedded nursing home, in the heart of Slough.
It caters to a variety of needs, this home offers general nursing for the elderly frail, as well as respite care and rehabilitation stays. Home staff can also provide for those requiring specialist dementia care.
The centre itself officially opened in 2011 and is equipped and furnished to an excellent standard. It is conveniently located for public transport, parks and local amenities.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard.
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly.
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
