About the job
As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy, you will be working a rotating 12hr shift pattern covering days and nights, but also giving 8 consecutive days off every 4 weeks
You will be responsible for;
Supporting the running of our production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products. Reporting safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings. Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, sealing and weights. Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes. Perform specified cleaning tasks as per our daily/monthly schedules.What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role
A motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative and knows about supply chain processes and sticking to health and safety rules It’s vital you can understand and read all signage, and are able to communicate well as out sites run on teamwork You’re as serious about quality as we are – and ready to work hard to achieve it You’ll be a strong performer with a good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills To be successful in this role is essential you are a good communicator with the ability to understand instructions Previous experience in an FMCG or related company is desirable, but full training will be given to successful candidates.If this sounds like you, you could be just what we are looking for to help drive and deliver our ambitious growth agenda.
