Bridgnorth, United Kingdom Esland Full time
DescriptionDo you have experience tutoring children with Special Educational Needs? Would you be interested in working as part of a collaborative team, to provide the best access to education for our children and young people? If so, become an Eslander and start a truly rewarding career

Esland are excited to announce that we will be opening a new SEN school in the Bridgnorth area early 2025.

We invite experienced, dedicated teaching staff to registered their interest to join us for this great new opportunity.

If you have UK based SEN/SEND/SEMH experience as a teacher, tutor, TA, HLTA, DSL or SENCO we would love to hear from you
About our schools:Our talented staff deliver the very best educational experiences and therapeutic care for 8 to 18 year-olds, who are unable to access formal learning environments within a day-school setting. Our students have a range of special educational needs, disabilities or have experienced trauma. They are placed at the school via local authority commissioning teams.

Our specialised teachers, tutors, support staff and therapists help students re-ignite their curious spark, form the building blocks to life-long learning and gain the knowledge, skills, and qualifications they need to make their own indelible mark on the world.

We follow Esland’s Turning the Curve™ education model, which works with Turning the Curve™ tutors, carers, parents, and schools to help students unable to access education in any form re-enter full-time education in a school setting.

The model offers a completely flexible, child-led curriculum that enables them to learn in a way that’s right for them, while meeting their social, emotional and mental health needs through therapeutic approaches.

We ensure that all core subjects, vocational and functional subjects are available through to GCSE level.

What we are looking for:We will be seeking a new team to include an Assistant Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher, subject teachers, outreach tutors, HLTAs, teaching assistants and admin support.
