Our client islooking for a driven individual who is keen to make a difference tohundreds of schools across the UK. The ideal candidate must have agood understanding of an experienced IT Consultant and be someonecompetent in working with clients customers and colleagues of alllevels of seniority.

Primarily thiswill include but not be limited to assisting in the implementationand maturing of the followingservices:

  • Provide extensivesupport and guidance on a wide range of IT services andtechnologies including Microsoft Google and Appleplatforms.
  • Manage field support team in aparticular area providing escalated support for technicalcolleagues and directing clients via the relevant serviceboard.
  • Participate in and lead IT project workat client sites.
  • Working with Account Managersas part of a Client Team acting as Technical Lead for specificcustomers recommending advising and guiding on their strategic ITplans.

What you willneed

  • At least 6 yearsof demonstrable experience in a relevantfield.
  • Certification: Relevant baselevelcertifications in appropriate networking or operating systems(CompTIA Network Microsoft MCP).
  • Currentnetwork troubleshooting skills including excellent workingknowledge of LAN & WAN technologies including IPv4 VPNs VLANsiSCSI SNMP etc.
  • Administration of WindowsActive Directory including Microsoft Office 365 suite and AzureActive Directory.
  • Experience with firewallsSANs & either Cisco or Aruba switchnetworks.
  • Experience in configuring VMWare andMicrosoft Hyper V Clustering.
  • Experience inrecent Microsoft Serverbuilds.
  • Experience inusing Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and/orMicrosoft Intune to manage endpoints
  • Experiencein solution design in Microsoft and Google platforms would bebeneficial but not essential.
  • Selfmotivated andlooking for a challenge
  • Able to work towardsdeadlines with strong planning and organisationalskills.
