We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic practitioner of User-Centred Design to drive forward an externally funded research project, ‘Roles in Tech’. The aim of the project is to design a novel careers education platform which will seek to inform and engage school leavers in the diverse range of career opportunities in the technology sector and highlight the importance of soft skills.

The main purpose of the post will be to design and facilitate user experience research studies and deliver functional prototypes as part of a lean product development process. Applications from academics and industry practitioners with demonstrable experience in any of the following areas are welcomed: UX/UCD, digital product design, gaming and web and mobile application development. Please refer to the person specification for more information and provide evidence against the criteria in your application.

The work pattern is flexible and although the primary base will be Leeds Trinity University, we anticipate some of the work can be conducted remotely.
