Job description

Job Title: Music Teacher

Location: Tonbridge

Salary: £120-£200 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Long-term

GSL Education Kent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Music Teacher for a long-term role in Tonbridge, starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Music curriculum and fostering a love for the subject in students through practical methods and theory of music, singing, and playing musical instruments.

Requirements:

  • A valid teaching qualification, such as QTLS or PGCE with QTS in Music
  • Previous experience teaching the Music curriculum in a school setting
  • An up-to-date Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new one
  • A passion for music and the ability to inspire students
  • Proficiency in demonstrating pitch, tempo, rhythm, and other key concepts of music

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply.
