We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digitial Section Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Digital Delivery team. The Digital Section Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, standards, and technologies to optimise project delivery efficiency and quality.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Digital Section Manager, we'll count on you to:
Lead and manage the Digital Delivery team, including BIM coordinators, technicians, and specialists. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure project objectives are met effectively and efficiently. Coordinate available team resources with project managers to ensure project workload requirements are met in accordance with project programmes / deadlines. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish BIM project requirements and deliverables. Coordinate the execution of BIM tasks and workflows across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints. Oversee clash detection, model coordination, and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of BIM models. Support the implementation of BIM strategies, standards, workflows and best practices to optimize digital project delivery processes. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to BIM, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their BIM skills and proficiency. Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the Digital Delivery team and across the organization. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment on BIM requirements and expectations. Act as a point of contact for BIM-related inquiries and provide technical support and guidance as needed. Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management and implementation, with a focus on digital project delivery. Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of successfully delivering BIM projects on time and within budget. Relevant certifications (, BIM Manager Certification, Autodesk Certified Professional) are preferred.Why HDR
