Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward thinking physiotherapists to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team lead.

The role will be based in the South of Oxfordshire at either Wallingford, Didcot or Abingdon.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants, leading a clinical area, and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.

You will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools and clinic settings; providing a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, formulated around evidence-based practice and recognised national standards.

This post will include opportunities for service development, research, education and teaching. We are committed to CPD and will work with you to further develop your skills and experience.

Job responsibilities
