Role: Cover Supervisor

Location: Secondary School, Weymouth
Start Date: 1st September 2024
Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lessons during the short-term or unforeseen absence of the usual subject teacher.
  • Supporting teaching and learning across the school in a variety of subjects.
  • Engaging with students in a classroom setting, maintaining a conducive learning environment.
  • Confidently managing and addressing behavioural issues within the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Confidence and presence to educate students across all subjects.
  • Ability to adapt to various teaching situations and support different educational needs.
  • Experience in engaging with students and covering core subjects is desirable but not essential.

  • Responsible and reliable.
  • Well-organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Confident in dealing with classroom behavioural issues.
