We are currently hiring for teaching assistants to work in one of our partner schools in Hackney, London. 

This is a great opportunity for graduates, former teaching assistants or youth workers looking for more responsibility and experience in supporting students. Any cover supervisors or graduates with any relevant or related work experience are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.

The ofsted rated Good school are looking for an experienced LSA to work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil. The pupil has SEMH SEN and the ideal candiadate will have experience working in a school and working with SEN. 

This role will be full time and would be starting in September.

The successful candidate will

  • Be confident, self-motivated, and professional with a passion for education
  • Be patient, caring and engaging
  • Hold or be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check- Child only
  • Live a reasonable distance from the Kilburn area or surrounding areas (this is not a necessity and if you are willing to commute do not hesitate to apply)
  • Be positive role models for students.
  • Be enthusiastic and engaging, while driven and highly supportive
  • Have behaviour management skills
  • Be reliable, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile
