Responsibilities

  • Overseeingthe SEN provision throughout theschool ensuring that students with special educational needsreceive tailored support andinterventions.
  • Working closely withteachers parents and external agenciesto develop and implement effective SEN strategies and supportplans.
  • Leading the SENteam and providing guidance training andprofessional development for staff in relation to SEN bestpractices.
  • Monitoring and evaluating theprogress of SEN students and ensuring compliance with national andschoolstandards.

Experienceand Qualifications

  • Aqualified SENDCo with a National Awardfor SEN Coordination (or working towardsit)
  • Experience working with children with awide range of special educational needs
  • Strongleadership andorganizational skills with the abilityto manage multiple tasks andstakeholders
  • Excellentcommunication andinterpersonalskills
  • A clear DBScheck
  • Legal right to work withintheUK
