Job Description

The Behaviour Support Assistant will work in an educational setting in Yorkshire and the Humber, specifically in West Yorkshire, Bradford. This is a permanent part-time position that involves supporting students in managing their behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.

Job Duties:
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create individualised behaviour plans
  • Monitor and record student behaviour and progress
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
