Graduate Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors Wanted

Graduate Teaching Assistant Role: As a graduate teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the classroom setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting students individually or in small groups, utilising your advanced knowledge in education. Additionally, you will demonstrate valuable transferable skills such as patience, understanding, and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff. By offering guidance and support, you will help students thrive academically and develop personally.

Cover Supervisor Role: In the role of cover supervisor, you will step in during teacher absences to maintain a productive learning environment. This will involve leading the classroom, managing student behaviour, and providing additional support to students who require assistance with their assignments. By taking on this responsibility, you will gain valuable experience in classroom management, behaviour management, and individual student support. This opportunity serves as an excellent steppingstone for those considering a career in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
