Job Summary
Hospice in the Weald provides care across all settings to the population of Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas of Kent and East Sussex. In patient services include a 15 bed ward at our Pembury site and a 10 bed ward at our Cottage Hospice in Five Ashes. Community services include a community palliative care team with dedicated Consultant Nurse, Advanced Clinical practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and paramedic specialists offering support to people in their own homes and outpatient clinics. In patient and community care is delivered alongside our Living Well therapies, counselling and support services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing excellent palliative care. The post holder will work predominantly on our inpatient ward at our Pembury site but with the opportunity to work also within our community team and Cottage Hospice. You will be part of our multidisciplinary team and work in collaboration with our medical colleagues and the wider hospice team. The post holder will also support out of hours care as part of an on call rota.
Hours/ contract 6 PA’s per week
On call 1:6
