QueensPark Care is working with a valued client looking to recruit aRegional Support Manager for their England region. The positionwill cover two mediumsized care homes in Aylesbury and Bushey withone more pending contract completion in Birmingham.

Ourclient operates five care homes across the UK with two more pendingcontract completion. They are committed to providing theirresidents with the highest standards of care and believe in afriendly and homely atmosphere where residents can live a fulllife.

YouWill Be ResponsibleFor:
  • Tocarry out specific operational or quality projects within a Home oracross the area as directed by the Owners.
  • Toprovide robust and professional leadership in the Homes and toensure the efficient and economical use of preagreed resourcelevel.
  • Providingadvice and support to Home Managers and senior staff in a Home toassist them in achieving the highest standards of care andquality.
  • Responsiblefor retaining and recruiting qualitystaff.
  • Undertakingoperational and quality project work in relation to a specific Homeor Homes within the area i.e. budgeting management reviews auditsor investigations team building mentoring andtraining.

InterviewProcess:

Theinterview process will be in a twostageformat.
  • StageOne – Video call interview with the Regional Director andOwners
  • StageTwo Inperson interview with theSMT

TheCandidate:
  • Proventrack record of achievements in Home Management within medium/largeresidential dementia and nursinghomes.
  • Anursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with an active PIN is desirable.
  • Carehome acquisition exposure is desirable.
  • Strongleadership skills.
  • Strongunderstanding of clinicalissues/audits.
  • Highlyresilient and able to progress change and lead people throughit.
  • Anunderstanding of employment law and the HR process isdesirable.
  • Multisiteexperience would be advantageous.
  • Mustbe a car driver and comfortable with occasional overnightstays.
