About the job you are considering

We are looking for Software Engineers/Consultants to support our Life Sciences Team. This is an exciting opportunity which offers plenty of opportunity to grow within the team and also offers an attractive reward package. 

We have a range of projects from single person consultancy roles with customers supporting them with their software challenges to large scale, £multi-million in-house software development projects – and everything in between. You will get the chance to use your skills and learn new ones, develop and enhance your career and progress down the specialisms that interest you. You’ll get all the relevant training and mentoring required to work on these high value projects.

Some of your main activities will include:-

Incident resolution (trouble shooting, physical check of instrument, network issue, licenses configuration, data flow and data storage issues...) User Administration (User creation, access, check on validity of user accounts...) Installation (coordination with vendor, interaction with network team, configuration of the instrument with the different applications...) Periodic reviews and maintenance (support client instrument owner, ensure maintenance plan is in place and followed, support firmware updates)

Your Role

Previous experience working within IT Departments (R&D IT support) pf Pharmaceutical or/and Biotech industries Must have a ITIL (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management) knowledge Activity must be performed on client's site. 21 CFR Part 11 Skilled in Manual Testing and Qualification process Solid understanding of LIMS and CDS basics

Your Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. ​

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.​

There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.​
