Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineerto join our Global Manufacturing Excellence (GM) under theTechnical Support team. Technical support is a multidisciplinaryteam responsible for providing highquality technical support to GMoperating facilities (Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants)inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & across the globe. Yourprimary role will be to provide the technical evaluation andassessment of rotating equipment including all the relevantauxiliary systems across our refineries NGLF and petrochemicalplants.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the operationteam throughout the entire lifecycle of rotating equipmentanalyzing their performances operative conditions and boundaries toensure reliable and safe operations.
  • Troubleshoot failures and performance issues related torotating equipment.
  • Apply your knowledge ofinternational standards to enhance equipmentperformance.
  • Implement bestinclass solutionsfor rotating equipment aligned with international and internalcompany standards.
  • Lead initiatives upgradingprograms and projects aimed at improving efficiency in the field ofrotating equipment.
  • Offer technical solutionswhen equipment experiences failures utilizing maintenancestrategies to analyze address and rectify root causes forprevention.
  • Recommend changes in operatingmodes technological improvements or maintenance strategies tosupport the companys vision of continuous improvement throughcollaboration and innovation.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
  • A Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 yearsexperience in the rotating equipment discipline with at least fiveyears of relevant experience in troubleshooting andassessments.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineeringpractices and economic principles calculation methods designdetails and international codes standards and specificationsincluding API610 API 617 API 692 API 691.
  • Familiarity with basic investigation tools and techniqueslike FRACAS RCA and TAPROOT is considered an addedvalue.
