Here’s the facts about the role

As a FRA carpenter multi, you’ll carry out high quality repairs, maintenance and refurb works, as well as pre/post work inspections to our properties. This’ll mostly be in carpentry, but you’ll carry out other skilled works which may the following:

  • Fire stopping
  • Minor completion works
  • Boxing in - remove and replace & Partition/Wall plates
  • Install glazing unit (single and double)
  • Shape door to fit & furniture adjustment/removal
  • Installing door linings and doors and windows
  • Locks
  • Loft works

This role will involve some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device.

You’ll be qualified to NVQ level 3 in carpentry (or equivalent) and will need to provide proof of your qualifications at interview stage – however qualified by experience may be considered. You’ll have demonstrable experience of working in a multi-skilled role and have a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) so you can drive a company van.

  • Working at heights
  • Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
  • A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles
