Job Title: SEMH Tutor

Location: England, South East England, Surrey

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:Job Duties:
  • Provide academic support and tailored learning to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' requirements
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to facilitate student progress and attainment
  • Monitor and assess student's academic and emotional development regularly
  • Collaborate with other educational professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEMH needs

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
