Graduate Speech & Language Assistant

Graduate Speech & Language Assistant - Person Specification

  • Speech and Language/Linguistics graduate preferred – 1st or 2:1 degree ideal
  • Aspirations of becoming a Speech and Language Therapist, or working in a related field
  • Previous experience is welcomed but not essential
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate empathy and a genuine passion for this line of work

Graduate Speech & Language Assistant - Job Description

  • Start date: September 2024
  • Salary: £500 to £580 per week
  • Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Work closely with educational psychologists and speech and language therapists
  • Use your educational background and vibrant personality to encourage engagement and progress for students with EHCPs and SLCN

As a Graduate Speech & Language Assistant, you'll play a key role in fostering inclusivity within the school, ensuring that no child is left behind. You will join a welcoming and supportive team dedicated to helping you succeed in this role and achieve your future career aspirations.
