We are looking for an exceptional individual to take the role of Deputy Headteacher, with responsibility for School improvement, self evaluation and assessment. We are looking for an individual who has: • Significant skills, knowledge, understanding and experience of School improvement, self-evaluation and assessment. • Drive and energetic commitment to creating the best possible educational opportunities for ALL learners, particularly focusing on FSM, LAC, and SEBD pupils. • Record as an outstanding classroom practitioner. • A passionate commitment to ensuring all pupils equitably succeed • A proven track record in ethically leading whole-school initiatives which result in improved outcomes for pupils • The vision, experience and dynamism to bring about further school improvement • The integrity and personal qualities required to deliver change whilst motivating and supporting colleagues • Feels empowered to lead independently through agreed autonomy • Demonstrates the resilience and positive outlook that is needed in times of challenge Ysgol Bryn Teg is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and all its staff are expected to support this core commitment.
