Ready to make a real impact at Next by leading high-stakes eSourcing negotiations and driving significant savings across the business? We’re looking for a proactive and analytical eSourcing Lead to join our dynamic team and champion strategic sourcing at scale

About the Role

As our  eSourcing Lead , you’ll lead online eSourcing negotiations across multiple categories to secure optimal value for Next. Working within our  Goods-Not-For-Resale team in Finance, you’ll play a key role in procuring products and services spanning eCommerce, Retail, IT, Brand Packaging, and Warehousing. This is a unique opportunity to deliver financial impact, influence internal teams up to the Director level, and set the standard for eSourcing at Next.

Key Responsibilities

Lead eSourcing Events : Run end-to-end eSourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and eAuctions, managing event design, build, and real-time supplier communications. Spend & Opportunity Analysis : Identify negotiation opportunities from in-depth spend analysis, presenting actionable insights to business stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement : Increase eSourcing adoption across the company, providing regular updates to Directors and challenging low-usage areas. Process Excellence : Act as a Centre of Excellence for eSourcing, coaching internal users, refining templates, and enhancing process efficiency. Supplier & Technology Management : Manage relationships with our 3rd-party eSourcing software supplier and ensure smooth operation of our digital sourcing tools.

About You

Strong Procurement Knowledge : Understanding of the procurement life-cycle and sourcing principles. Advanced Excel Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to support detailed analysis. Influential Communicator : Confident presenting to senior audiences and building productive stakeholder relationships. Analytical & Inquisitive : Enthusiastic about uncovering opportunities and innovating processes. Organised Multi-tasker : Skilled in managing and prioritising multiple projects effectively. eSourcing Technology Familiarity : Experience with eSourcing tools is a plus, but not required.
