Collaborating closely with the Stock Manager and our 3PL providers, you will develop and implement innovative strategies to improve these processes. Your vigilance will extend to overseeing the performance of return flows within our warehouses and scrutinizing the accuracy of order picking processes conducted by the 3PL providers. By analysing order fulfillment data, you will identify discrepancies or errors, collaborating with the Stock Manager and 3PL teams to rectify these issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will lend your expertise to support the Stock Manager in managing Idocs and aligning stock as needed.

You  will also weave through the realms of cost control and analysis. As an adept supporter of the Operations Controllers, you will assist in reconciling and processing costs and invoices for services rendered. Your analytical skills will be crucial in examining the costs associated with 3PL services, including transportation, warehousing, and handling, ensuring that these expenses align with our financial strategies and budgetary constraints.

Further involve managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). You will take charge of tracking our operational performance against agreed-upon KPIs, providing weekly and monthly reports to the team and key stakeholders, narrating the story of our operational success and areas for improvement.

The chapter of continuous improvement in your role is characterised by a proactive approach to collecting data and intelligence to identify risks and opportunities within our warehouse and logistical processes. Your business acumen will guide you in understanding the needs of our growing business, working with current and future suppliers to devise cost-effective solutions that do not compromise on quality or service. Through continual process reviews supported by root cause analysis, you will drive significant enhancements in our operations.

Lastly, your role is pivotal in fostering robust relationships and engaging with stakeholders across various levels of the organization. You will establish and maintain strong connections with key contacts across the 3PLs to support the performance of contracts, ensuring a consistent flow of information regarding the delivery of current and future services and strategies. This engagement will ensure that all plans are aligned with stakeholder expectations, paving the way for a collaborative and efficient operational environment.

Your journey as an Operations Planner is not just about managing tasks but weaving a story of strategic enhancement, cost efficiency, and collaborative success across every facet of our supply chain operations.

As you grow and adapt, you will lead by example, showing how dedication and continuous learning can lead to remarkable outcomes both for individuals and for the team as a whole.
