Art Teacher – Nurture Creativity and Expression

Responsibilities:
  • Engaging Art Lessons: Deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing students' creative and practical skills.
  • Encourage Individual Expression: Create a classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves artistically.
  • GCSE Preparation: Support students aiming to pursue art at GCSE level, building their confidence and competence in various art mediums.
  • Collaborative Department: Work with the Art team to organise school exhibitions and showcase student talent, fostering a love of art throughout the school.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or related subject.
  • Strong background in various art forms and an enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Passion for fostering creativity and expression in students of all abilities.
  • Skilled in classroom management and promoting a respectful learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
