Head Brewer

Head Brewer  – Beer Production  – South West / Wales -  £30,000

My client is an established family run drinks business operating in the South West of the country. This brand was created in 2018 and since then has gone from strength to strength, monopolizing both the on trade and off trade – along with a fantastic production facility in South Wales.   

They are a Head Brewer / Production manager to oversee the daily operation of the facility. You will be managing the liquid production, logistics and warehouse maintenance – along with the packaging and distribution of this product. The facility has contract packaging and in a vast array of in-house brewing.

This role will suit a candidate with a background in Brewing across the Drinks Industry, or with a background in liquid production. This will require being on site for 5 says per week.

Head Brewer responsibilities:

• Production, packaging and logistics managing
• Product brewing and maintenance, along with new product development
• Managing the contract brewing process and ensuring accurate stock controls
• Maintaining SALSA compliance, along with warehouse health and safety
• Distribution alongside Goods In / Out.
• Maintenance across the Operational Facilities
• Support in Managing the Taproom

The Ideal Head Brewer candidate:

• A background in the Drinks industry across production and brewery, can be junior or entry level.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety whilst working within a Production facility.
• Flexibility and team work, along with an innovator of products
• Previous experience working with SALSA compliance
• Passion and drive for the drinks industry, along with a growing business.
• Full driving license.
