Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optical Assistant to join the team. As an Optical Assistant you will work alongside the clinical team in the day to day running of eye care clinics, carrying out diagnostic examinations whilst maintaining high quality care to all patients.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who can:Assist in the running of pre- and post-operative clinicalsAct as theatre runner/escort ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care, and our theatre team are assisted during surgerySupport patients throughout their journey with CHEC and report any concerns.Ensure all equipment is checked and ready for usePrepare all areas prior to any clinical activitiesAdhere to good record keeping and high standards of quality patient care
