Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide swift response to equipment breakdowns.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and plant equipment, minimizing production downtime.
  • Address faults identified during Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
  • Maintain high engineering standards to ensure factory efficiency and reliability.
  • Support subcontractors with PPM and reactive maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to company QA and site procedures at all times.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures diligently.
  • Maintain company-issued tools in a safe and operable condition.
  • Foster a proactive and supportive work environment with a can-do attitude.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
  • Ensure workstations are kept tidy and well-maintained.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Level 3 qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering with relevant experience.
  • Experience with compressed air and hydraulic systems.
  • PLC Qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional technical skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Initiative and self-motivation.
