Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated IT Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Gillingham for a long-term role starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and fostering a love for technology in students.
The school is a well-established institution in the local community, known for its culture of high expectations and success. As an IT Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering a curriculum that not only focuses on technical skills but also supports students’ overall development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
- Support students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to guide their learning journey.
- Work closely with the school’s pastoral team to support students’ well-being.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme, including technology clubs and competitions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching IT at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
