It is vital that youdemonstrate high levels of professionalism in this role and haveexperience and confidence running your own caseload. More keyresponsibilities can be found below.
Keyresponsibilities:
- Conductinginterviews with clients to take instructions on criminalallegations
- Conducting legalresearch and advising on points of law andpractice
- Attending the PoliceStation to provide advice andassistance
- Attending to representclients in the MagistratesCourt
- Conducting Crown Courtlitigation and instructingCounsel
- Drafting letters and legaldocuments
- Working in accordance withthe Office Manual
- Administrativeduties
- Handle a diverse caseload ofcriminal matters with precision anddiligence.
- Collaborate with a teamof legal professionals to ensure optimal clientoutcomes.

Requirements
- Idealcandidates will be between 05 PQE however our client will considermore experienced candidates with up to 10 years PQE.
- Hold Duty Solicitor Status. If you are not thehiring firm will assist in helping you become duty qualified.
- Hold Police Station AccreditationStatus
- Have good attention to detailin reviewing and preparingdocumentation
- Strong advocacy andcommunication skills.
- Demonstratedability to work effectively within a collaborative legalteam.
- Have excellent ITskills
- Haveexcellent time managementskills
- Understand the importance ofand provide first class clientcare
- Have excellent interpersonalskills
