Job Title: Teacher of A Level Maths

Location: Angel, London

Contract Type: Part-Time

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

Hours: 12 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher of A Level Maths to join our team at Angel, London. This part-time role involves teaching A Level Maths to Year 12 and Year 13 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective A Level Maths lessons to Year 12 and Year 13 students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for A Level examinations and ensure they achieve their academic potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in teaching A Level Maths.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with A Level exam preparation and assessment.
  • Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies in Mathematics.
  • Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms.
