Full-Time Cook (Permanent)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Cook to join our team at our care home: Wilkinson Park, Harbottle (near Rothbury), NE65 7DP.

Duties of a Care Home Chef:

• Ensure residents are provided with a balanced & nutritious diet
• Consider special dietary, medical, ethnic, religious needs and personal preferences
• You will control the efficient and economic production of quality food
• Work within the allocated budget
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with EHO regulations

What you need:

• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (Desirable)
• Full driving licence & access to own vehicle (Required due to location)
• Caring & trustworthy in nature
• Patient and understanding
• Want to make a difference
• Excellent communications skills & friendly personality

Hourly Rate: PS11.45 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• 5 shifts per week (inc weekends)
• Rolling rota - 5/7 days

Experience:

• Chef: min 6 months culinary experience (required)
