Reactive maintenance surveyor, hybrid

Reactive maintenance surveyor - based in Merthyr

You will inspect properties as directed and provide effective support on all maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with legislation, best practice, policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in partnership with tenants. You must have experience of planning and managing day-to-day inspections and producing specifications of works. You have estimated the scope, cost and duration of work and monitoring relevant budgets as well and have worked with tenants, the public and other customers on a daily basis. You’ll have experience of delivering, developing and managing customer-driven services as well as having managed responsive and maintenance works on residential properties.
If you have any relevant formal Health & Safety training such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CDM, SMSTS, that would also be beneficial.

Requirements for this role:

Good IT skills - including Microsoft Word, Teams and Excel.Ability to prioritise and manage your own workloadHNC/HND Building Surveying Possesses a current driving licence with full access to a vehicle whilst at work.

You will also be a part of an organisation that works a 4-day week. Paying up to £38,700 per annum, working on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
