A lovely, welcoming, one-form-entry, Church of England primary school in Wandsworth are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team from mid November to cover a maternity absence.

The Role

In this role you will be a full-time class teacher in Year 1/2. As a small one-form-entry school you will be responsible for your class and work independently in planning and assessments. You will have support from the other teachers across KS1 and the senior leadership team.  The curriculum is creative and varied and encourages individual learning and personal growth. The class are settling well in to keystage 1 but require a confident and experienced teacher to support them through the second two terms. There are pupils with SEND and EAL in the class, so experience of providing additional support and differentiation is desirable.

The school are looking for a Primary Teacher who:

  • has good knowledge and experience teaching the KS1 curriculum
  • has excellent classroom management
  • has experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • is organised and hardworking;
  • is creative, flexible and committed

The School

This small, one-form entry church of England primary school is based in Wandsworth and rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.  The senior leadership have created a nurturing, safe family environment in which children are known as individuals and can flourish both socially and academically. Staff have high aspirations for children and work hard to plan challenging and exciting lessons to ensure children are engaged in learning. The school emphasizes spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of each child through the distinctive Christian character and promotion of Christian values.
