KeyResponsibilities:

  • ClientManagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clientsensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction. Handleclient queries and provide expert advice on personal taxmatters.

  • TaxCompliance: Oversee the preparation and submission ofselfassessment tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.Ensure compliance with tax regulations anddeadlines.

  • AdvisoryServices: Provide tax planning and advisory services to clientsidentifying opportunities for tax savings and advising on theimplications of taxlegislation.

  • TeamSupervision: Support the Tax Manager in supervising and mentoringjunior staff members. Review work completed by junior team membersproviding feedback and guidance to ensure high standards ofwork.

  • TechnicalExpertise: Stay uptodate with the latest tax legislation anddevelopments. Share knowledge with the team and clients ensuringthey are informed of any changes that may impact their taxposition.

  • WorkflowManagement: Assist in managing the workflow within the teamensuring that all deadlines are met and work is completedefficiently andaccurately.

  • BusinessDevelopment: Support the firm s growth by identifying new businessopportunities and participating in business developmentactivities.


Requirements
  • Experience:Previous experience in a personal tax role ideally at a senior orassistant managerlevel.
  • Qualifications:ATT/CTA qualified orequivalent.
  • Skills:Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and compliance.Excellent client management skills with the ability to communicateeffectively and build strongrelationships.
  • TeamPlayer: Ability to work well within a team mentoring junior staffand contributing to the overall success of theteam.
  • Proactive:A proactive approach to work with the ability to identifyopportunities for clients and thebusiness.
