Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship (SQE)

Role

Our SQE training programme takes the form of a Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship and allows you to start working and earning at Forbes Solicitors after you finish university, while gaining qualifying legal work experience across a range of different legal teams before sitting the SQE1 and SQE2 exams to qualify as a solicitor.

Prospective trainees looking to start the SQE training programme must have completed a law degree or the GDL/PGDL prior to starting with Forbes. You can apply for a graduate solicitor apprenticeship from the penultimate year of your law degree, or final year of your non-law degree (if you plan to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law, or equivalent).

Forbes will fully fund your training during the course of the apprenticeship.

This programme will be delivered by UCLAN, our partnered university. The course is designed for those who wish to qualify as a solicitor. It is a non-integrated Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) pathway, designed to deliver the Solicitor Apprenticeship qualification.

The apprenticeship will give you the additional knowledge required so you can undertake the Solicitors Regulation Authorities (SRAs) central Solicitor Qualification Exams (SQE 1 & 2). You can then qualify as a Solicitor through our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme.
