A new opportunity has arisen to join us at Barnfield College Luton as part of the teaching team in Computing.

We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who is current in knowledge, skills and forward thinking with modern technology. You will demonstrate a positive and motivational approach to the learning experience for students to enhance their future career prospects within the industry. A degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field is a requirement ideally with industry experience. A teaching qualification is desirable although full training to obtain this could be provided.

You will teach a range of subjects to students 16-19, level 1-3. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent teaching sills, be proactive and motivational in their approach, be current with industry knowledge, and prepared to teach a across a range of computing disciplines. You will have a sound understanding of computing concepts, programming languages, and software applications and be experienced in preparing students for external computing exams.

You will be confident in developing engaging and interactive learning materials to stimulate a diverse range of students with differing needs. You will be student focused, provide pastoral care and be a strong role model for our students with an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
