Assistant Psychologist
As an Assistant Psychologist you will be passionate about improving the mental health of children and young people and putting them at the centre of all you do. You will provide input and support to the Kingston cluster team, with a particular focus on waiting list management and co-delivery of a range of group work. You will be part of a team of clinicians providing access to peer supervision and many exciting development opportunities. You will also. receive clinical supervision and line management within the service.
About the role
The purpose of this post is to support the Kingston Cluster team with their waiting list project. As an Assistant Psychologist in the Kingston team, you will be responsible for:
co-ordinating and scoring screening measures for the NDT pathway Supporting clinicians with the choice assessment appointments Contributing to choice assessment reports Co-delivery of group workIf you wish to have an informal discussion about this role please contact the hiring manager on
About you
To be an Assistant Psychologist at AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:
Putting children and young people first. Undergraduate BPS accredited psychology degree (2i or above). Experience in working with Autistic children and / or children with ADHD. Experience in working in CAMHS or other child mental health services.
