I am looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated Year 1 teacher to support a 'Good' Ofsted rated school within the Middlesbrough area. The schoo is on an exciting journey and seeks a passionate educator to contribute to its next phase of development.

They are dedicated about providing their students with the best possible opportunities to learn with regular trips and experiences to learn outside the classroom. The staff are extremely encouraging, and innovation is encouraged. The school places a high emphasis on CPD for teachers, with opportunities for training and mentoring. Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who:

  • Has a strong understanding for the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Has experience of working with years 1 - 6 in a primary school setting.
  • Plans and delivers creative, engaging and exciting lessons.
  • Collaborates with other colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Year 1 or a similar age group is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
