Landgate School


Landgate is a school for learners aged 4-19 with Autism and/or communication and interaction conditions. We are a small school with huge impact, dedicated to improving outcomes for learners and their families in the Wigan borough and beyond. The Role


We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint dynamic and innovative Deputy Heads to join our highly successful team 1 Permanent, 1 Temp until Aug 25 Please indicate on your application form which post you are applying for: perm, temp or both.


Successful candidates will:


  • Lead by example, provide inspiration, motivation, vision and purpose in line with the aims of Oakfield School and College and The Aspire Federation.
  • Support the Head of School in ensuring that all those involved in the school are committed to its aims and are accountable in meeting objectives and targets which secure the educational success of Oakfield School and College and The Aspire Federation.
  • Lead on the day-to-day management within school and college, including the effective deployment of staff and physical resources.
