Job summary
The maintenance of a high standard of individual patient care in conjunction with the ward manager. The provision of a good learning environment. Working with other professional groups to facilitate an effective service to Support the ward manager in all aspects of his / her duties and responsibilities. The Junior sister is not only responsible for a caseload of patients, but also has overall responsibility for all other patients on the ward, the staff activities and the environment of care. The maintenance of the safety of all patients and be mindful of factors that may impact on their ability to deliver safe care

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
