We are looking for a part-time, versatile, and enthusiastic Receptionist, responsible for Access Control. The successful candidate will have the professional capability to multi-task and fulfil a broad range of tasks to facilitate day-to-day Reception Services, including assisting access control at the visitor car park when required. Training will be given where required.

You will help facilitate the flow of personnel by managing access points throughout the building and ensuring the maintenance of fob access systems. You will be expected to keep a tidy and efficient reception area, providing a professional and courteous service throughout. You will also be required to handle any phone calls and emails in a prompt, professional manner as well as sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.

As a Corporate Receptionist, you will Carry out other reasonable tasks as required; this could include cover for other Mitie team members and other building management and access control duties.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and approachable manner and can always remain professional, displaying sound communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate needs to be IT literate with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work efficiently to agreed deadlines.

Additional Information

MOD security clearance and DBS Standard required. To meet national security vetting requirements, you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years to gain a Counter Terrorist Check, 5 years for Security Clearance and 10 years for Developed Vetting prior to the date of application. All Developed Vetted posts are required to be UK Nationals. Proof of right to work in UK essential. The Contract operates a flexible output during the overarching service hours of and Mon to Fri. Required to wear approved company work wear.
