At Ridgemount Banstead Care Home, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and a comfortable living environment for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team. Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Assist with laundry services as needed. Provide friendly and respectful interaction with residents and their families.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or residential setting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment as needed. Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Understanding of Health & safety in the workplace including Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH).

We have on-site parking where staff can park their cars as well We support are colleagues with a process that includes arranging regular and frequent meetings to review their work and to provide development and support along their way climbing up that ladder to better themselves.
