Position: Teaching Assistant Support Worker Location: North Yorkshire Start Date: September

As an Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support and guidance to students  helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one support to students tailored to their individual needs and abilities.

Assisting with the implementation of personalized education plans and behavior management strategies.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver effective educational and therapeutic interventions.

Supporting students with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility assistance as required.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN is preferred but not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse learning needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, Education, or related field) are desirable but not essential.
