We are three enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly parishes offering warmth, support, interest and humour from united churchwardens, PCCs and congregations. Situated in a beautiful area of rural North Hertfordshire, with good train and road links, the parishes comprise three churches: St Mary Magdalene in Offley, situated at the heart of its village in which the modern four-bedroom Vicarage is also located: St Mary's in King's Walden and St Peter's in Lilley. Each church has a service on Sunday mornings with the strong support of lay leaders.
We seek a new rector who is:
- A good leader and communicator, excited to be part of a rural ministry.
- Someone to expand our congregations and appeal to the up and coming generation.
- Someone who has a vision for change, transformation and growth.
- Someone with a confident faith and sound biblical knowledge.
- A person who can engage with all age groups, both those that attend church and those in our wider communities, and nurture and inspire them to use their talents and gifts.
- A person who will assist the three parishes to strengthen their mutual benefice whilst retaining their individuality.
