We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specialising in Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems, with a focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) designs. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in delivering successful projects, from detailed designs to construction and commissioning.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop electrical designs, including lighting systems, power distribution, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications
• Perform site visits to assess existing electrical systems and develop effective design solutions
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of electrical prototypes and installations
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare accurate project documentation, including bills of materials and cost estimates
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance design efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Significant experience in electrical design, preferably within the energy sector
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, ETAP or Revit
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment
