What You'll Do:

Plan and deliver dynamic, fun, and interactive lessons that capture the imagination of Year 3 students

Track and celebrate student progress, offering insightful feedback to both students and parents

Foster a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom where every child feels valued and motivated

Collaborate with an incredible team of teachers to design innovative curriculum and teaching resources

Be an active part of the school community – from staff meetings to school events, your contribution will shine

What You’ll Need:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – a must

️ Enhanced DBS check – keeping our school safe

A deep understanding of the National Curriculum

️ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – your classroom will be buzzing with positivity

Your Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

A strong understanding of child development and how to cater to different learning styles

Tech-savvy – you’re comfortable integrating educational technology into your lessons

Bonus Skills:

A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Experience working with Year 3 students – you know how to bring out the best in them

✏️ Specialist training in literacy or numeracy – let’s make learning even more impactful

What to Expect:

You’ll be working in a vibrant primary school, following the school calendar and daily schedule. You’ll build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and might even get involved in extracurricular activities and fun school events. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
