Main duties of the job

Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enabledevelopment of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual Be able to work under own initiative andwithout direct supervision Beproficient in the delivery of care to patients Ensure safeadministration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies Ensure accurate records are kept inaccordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines Carry outnursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies andstandards Undertakeregular mandatory training*

Job responsibilities

Job Title: Registered Nurse- Oncology

Trust Location: Hertford, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust

Pay Rates: £17- £28 Per hour.

Hours: Flexible

About the Trust:

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. Qualifications

Essential

Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices. In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of Statement of NMC Registration Degree /Diploma in Nursing

A minimum of 6 months paid experience as an Oncology Nurse within the last 2 years.
