Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant based at University Hospital Ayr.

What you will do:

Working within the Domestic Services Department you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting, especially mental health areas, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on both your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.

You will understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment and be flexible in regard to areas worked within Woodland View (Adult Mental Health wards), Ayrshire Central Hospital and the North clinics where priorities can change due to staffing and activity.

Hours:  

12.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 5:00pm to 7:30pm
